Summary of Experience
Extensive experience in the installation and structural support of
a variety of process equipment including drum filters, screening systems,
rotary kilns, and conveying systems. Experience
includes steel and concrete structures for storage and dispensing of
dry and liquid products.
Specialty is overall project coordination, management, and understanding
of how all
engineering disciplines blend for a complete project starting with
the project's general
arrangements; continuing through design and construction administration.
Managed projects
include a $6 million "grassroots" mineral processing facility and a
$7.5 million retro-fit/addition
project that include filters, kilns, and environmental equipment in
a pulp mill.

Summary of Experience
Experience in power generation and distribution in voltage ranges from
230KV through 115KV
and 13.8 KV to below 600 volts and considerable experience with control
systems, vibration
analysis, and environmental equipment was gained while working with
Georgia Power Company
at steam/electric generating stations. More recent experience
includes power distribution and
control system design for systems such as vacuum drum filters, centrifuges,
clarifiers, pressure
disc filters, and sewage collection/treatment facilities. Power
distribution designs have included
15KV, 5KV and 6000 volt systems. Motor control has included variable
speed drives for up to
500HP at 600 volts. Control system designs have included DCS
systems (FoxboroI/A,
Honeywell TDC 300, Moore APACS) and PLC based controls. Control
system designs include P&IDs, loop sheets, motor elementaries, termination
drawings, cable schedules, instrument
indexes, and processor and operator interface programming. |
